Apple Cake:

A creamy and yummy dessert ‘Apple Cake’ can make your mouth water anytime. Don’t sweat on the calories as they are also filled with nutrition like iron, fibre and calcium!

Apple Cakes can also be made with different flavours. Dorset apple cake, Devon apple cake and Somerset apple cakes are some of the traditional forms. Add some spices such as nutmeg or cinnamon and you can give your cake a unique flavour.

To prepare the Apple cake at home, first combine flour, sugar, soda and salt in a large bowl. Now in a medium bowl combine eggs, oil, apple juice and vanilla and stir in apples and nuts. Add the egg mixture to dry ingredients until it moistens completely. Spread it in a greased and floured pan. Bake at 350°F for 45-50 minutes. In a small pan mix the brown sugar, butter and cream. Cook and stir until the sugar dissolves. After cooling for a short time pour warm sauce over the cake. Now your delicious Apple cake is ready.

It fills your stomach, renders a spicy taste in the mouth, and gives you a satisfactory feeling of having eaten the right stuff. The bonus is that it can be prepared in a very short time.
