The festive season is here and it brings with it, mouth watering delicacies to be enjoyed with friends and family! Diwali is celebrated in different ways in different parts ofIndia, there are various food items in different parts of the country. However, there are some that stand out as all time favourites, all across the nation, like laddus, gulab jamuns, jalebis, kheer, barfees, to name a few! However, as food lovers, we Indians often tend to go overboard when it comes to eating and often end up bingeing, which is not good for our health. Amidst the festivities, it is also important that we keep a check on our health, lest we fall sick and mar the celebrations. And following a few simple tips will make sure that your digestive system is in place. Have a glass of lemon juice on an empty stomach each morning. You can add a few drops of ginger juice to it. A glass of Aloe Vera juice will also be helpful. If you are unable to do all this, at make sure that you have half a teaspoonful of ajwain seeds or even chewing a couple of mint leaves would help!
