Blackberry

The blackberry fruit is an aggregate fruit that is composed of many smaller fruits called drupes.

Though not a true berry in its characteristics, the blackberry is consumed in various forms owing to its benefits. It is a great source of anti-oxidants and is very helpful in curing diarrhea and dysentery.  Blackberries can be had with just a little sugar and cream or added to sundaes.

You can also store them in the freezer for months and use them throughout the year in puddings, with apples or tarts!
