Eat fibre rich food before exercising!

Regardless of the type of exercise you choose to do – whether a brisk walk, a dance routine or a weights training session, you’re going to need to eat well if you want to get the most out of it.

The most frequently made mistake by those who are new to exercise is to not eat anything before beginning their workout. However, what you choose to eat is just as important as making sure that you do eat.

The best pre-exercise food is slow release carbs and proteins. This means fibre rich fruits such as bananas or acai berries as well as salads, porridge, oatmeal, wholegrain bread, eggs, nuts and lean meats.
