Mushrooms

Mushrooms are low in calorie and fat and usually eaten raw or cooked to provide garnish to a meal. Raw Mushrooms are good source of Vitamin B and the essential minerals.

Edible mushrooms are extensively used in cooking in many cuisines. Interestingly, people who collect Mushrooms are known as Mycophagists and the act of collecting them is called ‘Mushroom Hunting’ or simply ‘Mushrooming’.
