A healthy breakfast is vital for living a fit life. An average adult is ideally expected to consume 20 – 25% of his daily calories at the breakfast.
Here are the four main components of an ideal breakfast-
•Complex Carbohydrates – Oatmeal, whole wheat pancakes and dry cereals are some of the options you can include.
•Protein – Eggs, yogurt and soy milk are rich in protein. Protein helps in increasing body’s energy and raise alertness.
•Fat – A little bit of fat is necessary for proper nutrition, so don’t just run away from it. Include at least a tsp of butter.
•Fruits & Veggies –A healthy breakfast should always include a bowl of fresh vegetable salad or a variety of chopped fruits or vegetable juice.
