Colourful Peppers

When you want to add colours to your simple recipe and make it look more appealing, which is the first ingredient that you think of??

Most of us opt for Peppers – Red, Green & Yellow.

Here are some interesting facts on them:-

  • All the three peppers belong to the nightshade family of vegetables.
  • Green peppers are the unripe peppers and a rich source for phytonutrients.
  • Red peppers are considered to be ‘fully’ ripened and have high content of beta-carotene.
  • Yellow peppers are more mature than green but less mature than red. And has the same nutrients that a green or a red pepper has but the amount differs.

So add these members from the nightshade family to enhance the look and taste of your dish.
