- All the three peppers belong to the nightshade family of vegetables.
- Green peppers are the unripe peppers and a rich source for phytonutrients.
- Red peppers are considered to be ‘fully’ ripened and have high content of beta-carotene.
- Yellow peppers are more mature than green but less mature than red. And has the same nutrients that a green or a red pepper has but the amount differs.
So add these members from the nightshade family to enhance the look and taste of your dish.
