To make Chinese cuisine at home you can use the fragrant garlic oil. Garlic oil can be made by heating cooking oil up to a smoking point and then adding crushed garlic cloves to the oil. Saute the garlic till it becomes golden brown. Let the oil cool and then store it. Use as and when required.

Things you will need: 1 cup garlic (lehsun) cloves, 2 tsp oil, 1 tomato, 5 whole dry kashmiri red chillies, salt to taste
Method: Heat 2 tsp oil, add the garlic, red chillies and tomatoes and saute for 5 minutes. Add the salt and blend in a mixer till smooth. Heat the remaining oil in a pan and add this ground paste and saute till the mixture becomes thick. Serve immediately or store it in your refrigerator.
