Grab that tomato from your kitchen stand & prepare a bowl of soup to warm your senses.
Here’s a soup for those times, when you wish to have something light in calories but filling & nutritious at the same time.
You would not imagine that such a simple soup could taste so delicious.
While serving this soup to Children, add a dollop of butter before you serve.
On the other hand, while serving this soup to elders, make sure you don’t add too much butter before serving.
Ingredients – 4 tomatoes, 3 to 4 chopped garlic, 1 chopped green chilli, 2 inch cinnamon, 50 gms butter, 50 gms refined flour, Salt to taste, Black pepper to taste, 5 tbsp cream, 4 bread slices, 1 chopped carrot, Bread croutons to garnish.
Method – In a pan heat butter. Add garlic, cinnamon and sauté it.
Add chopped carrot and cook until soft.
Add refined flour and cook until brown.
Add chopped tomatoes in the pan and add little water.
Cover the pan and let it cook for 10 minutes.
Blend the tomatoes with a hand blender.
Strain the tomatoes and now boil it.
Remove from flame and then add cream, black pepper powder and salt and mix well.
Remove the soup in a bowl. Serve it with bread croutons.
